Slash inspired tattoos

I really like how Slash rocks his tattoos, but instead of showing you his, I will show you the Slash inspired tattoos that I’m planning to get.

In this link, you will be able to see the gallery that I want to have inked into my skin. As you can see, almost all of them involve Slash. The first image is a little sketch that Slash does when he gives out autographs. It is a little skull with a top hat and it says “R&FN’R!” just like in his solo album back in 2010. I love the simplicity of it and it makes for a good small tattoo.

The second image is from Slash’s first album cover from his band SMKC. The album is called Apocalyptic Love. This is a great album with many great songs in which I will go more in detail about it on my SMKC blog. I believe Slash also came up with this design. I love the beautiful girl angel and she-devil in the middle. The addition of the snakes, skulls, his guitar and top hat really make it a stunning image. You can definitely think of an apocalyptic love when looking at this image.

The third image is of Slash himself. This picture was taken during his tour called “Made in Stoke.” Since Slash grew up in Stoke on Trent, he wanted to come back and play there. It is toward the end of the show that he starts playing with his guitar behind his neck and someone took this neat picture. I love this image, he looks majestic. I will have to go with a really good tattoo artist for this one. Because I know a thing or two about messed up tattoos.

The fourth image is the cover of his first album from Slash’s Snakepit. It is called “It’s five o’clock somewhere.” The image shows a snake surrounding a bone while also wearing a top hat and enjoying a cigarette. It is such a creepy looking snake that I need this! Amazing album, amazing image, and amazing tattoo idea. Slash has this image tattoed on his back! Although, I’m still having second thoughts whether keeping the shadow the snake makes or not. The fifth image is a tattoo that Slash has tattooed on his chest. It is an image of a naked girl angel on top of a naked she-devil while both being on top of Slash’s top hat. It is a very sexualized image but nevertheless amazing. I want to copy Slash and get it on the chest but I feel like it will hurt like hell. Maybe I’ll just get it on an arm.

Slash also rocks a tattoo from the cover of his band Velvet Revolver’s debut album “Contraband.” It is the silhouette of a woman reaching for her gun. This album really came in hard, it is sick. I understand why Slash would get it. It symbolizes a very successful comeback since Guns n Roses.

Tattoos are very important because they will be with you forever, so my next tattoos will be about things that are very important to me and that I will never regret. Because I already regret half of my tattoos. 8)
